When I first joined the business, we had our hands full with multiple educational brands operating under different names. Recognizing the need for a cohesive brand identity, I initiated a pivot to consolidate everything under one brand: Birla Open Minds. This strategic move has significantly strengthened our position, and we are now poised for continued growth and success in the future.
Prime Insights: How has your journey as an entrepreneur been?
Having grown up among the biggest entrepreneurs the country has witnessed, there wasn’t a lack of inspiration. However, each entrepreneur has their own journey and their own set of hurdles that are unique to them. Mine was similar; I have learned a great deal throughout my entrepreneurial journey and will continue to do so.
Prime Insights: What do you hope to accomplish within the next year from a personal as well as professional point of view?
Professionally, I aim to evolve alongside the team, elevating Birla Open Minds Education Pvt. Ltd. into a globally recognized brand. On a personal level, I aspire to pursue opportunities for self-growth that will enhance both my professional and personal life journeys. I would like to expand our franchise operations globally, especially in the Middle East. We would also like to onboard strategic partners who buy into our vision and guide us to expand the company and grow it exponentially. For Brainiacs, we plan to enhance our tech platform, integrating AI and metaverse capabilities, while also expanding our physical presence through additional hybrid centers.
I would like to strongly make my foray into the music industry. Currently, I’m actively involved in writing and recording my own songs. Moving forward, I aim to elevate this passion into a more structured and organized endeavor, ensuring my music reaches a wider audience through appropriate channels and platforms.

With over 100 years of experience, our legacy speaks volumes about the trust we’ve earned from our stakeholders. Since the pre-independence era, we’ve been dedicated to education, and our commitment has grown stronger. Our passionate team reflects this trust in our brand as we continue to pursue our vision of shaping India’s future.
What sets us apart is our ability to evolve. We’ve embraced change, leaving behind outdated practices and embracing new methods, all the while prioritizing the needs of our partners and stakeholders. Together, we’re charting a course of growth and innovation, united in our commitment to progress and backed by a passionate and motivated team.

We’ve diligently pursued this vision and are proud to be among the fastest-growing education companies, with schools spanning across various parts of India, from tier 1 to tier 6 cities. Our focus has always been on delivering quality education. Our growth over the years has been a testimony to that. With a great team, we have been marching toward success and will continue to do so with like-minded people who share our vision.

We do not have customers; we have stakeholders. Our stakeholders are our partners, our parents, and our students. We prioritize their needs, foster collaborative relationships, and ensure their satisfaction through dedicated efforts.

When individuals encounter our brand, they don’t just see a name or a logo; they see a reputation that speaks volumes. It represents trust, dependability, progressive vision, and top-notch education. Our brand embodies a promise of excellence and growth, both for our partners and for the people who work with us.

Our teams maintain continuous communication with our partners, actively listening to their needs, gathering feedback, and collaborating seamlessly. We’ve also formed an advisory council of our stakeholders, where we take their continuous feedback regularly to improve our services and our product. As a leader, I stay fully informed about all aspects of the company’s operations and readily step in when necessary. We prioritize face-to-face meetings with our partners, fostering strong and cordial relationships.
Prime Insights: Have you measured how much trust consumers have in your brand?
Our consistent growth stands as a testament to the trust bestowed upon us by our stakeholders. Notably, 10% of our partners have expanded to multiple schools, encouraged by the positive responses garnered from their initial ventures. With remarkable year-on-year growth exceeding 50%, this instills confidence and satisfaction in our endeavors.
Prime Insights: Any new categories or changes this year?
At the heart of our mission to educate and empower students are our teachers, the true torchbearers of knowledge. Recognizing the pivotal role they play, we believe it’s imperative for educators to continually enhance their skills. Birla Open Minds Education Pvt. Ltd. is very proud of our newest vertical, a Teacher Training Academy. This teacher training academy is called LearnLeap. With this program, we aim to enhance teachers’ skills for the foundation, preparatory, middle, and secondary stages, in alignment with the new structure of NEP, as well as recruit them and create employment opportunities. This initiative offers a platform for all educators, not limited to our own, to upgrade and refine their teaching abilities, ensuring they are equipped to deliver the highest quality education to their students, who deserve nothing but the best. We are not just upskilling the teachers and enriching their skills; we are also generating employment opportunities for them. This vertical will also offer leadership training along with Cambridge courses not only to our existing teacher base but also to teachers across the nation.
