Prime Insights: What inspired the foundation of your company, and how has your journey evolved since its inception?
In 2018, as founders, we recognized the potential of AI-based visual processing, but real-time video analysis was too costly due to infrastructure limits. Convinced that the technology would catch up, we continued to develop our cloud-first Visual AI platform and soft-launched VisionBot in 2020.
The pandemic significantly accelerated our adoption. As enterprises moved communications online, they began sharing CCTV feeds over secure internet with remote executives, opening the door for cloud-based visual AI. These initial pilots were crucial, giving us a profound understanding of customer pain points and field requirements. We’ve recently seen a shift from pilot to production, from inquiries about 4–16 cameras to requests for automating hundreds of feeds. This growth fueled our innovation, leading us to build our own optimized, cost-efficient, and privacy-compliant Visual AI servers that we now deploy directly in customer data centers or hosted environments. This allows us to pass on significant cost savings while driving massive operational efficiency.

We depend on various Machine Learning (ML) algorithms to make our platform adaptive, allowing clients to custom-train models for specific needs like predictive maintenance and quality control. For advanced applications, we utilize generative AI (GenAI) and GANs to create synthetic data for better model training. We also integrate Natural Language Processing (NLP) for features like sentiment analysis and personalized content creation, all built on a scalable, cloud-first architecture with partners like Google Cloud and NVIDIA.

We make sure of data integrity and ethical usage through a multi-faceted approach. Our deep learning algorithms provide high accuracy, which improves continuously via adaptive model training. For privacy, we prioritize on-device processing or offer on-premise solutions, minimizing PII sent to the cloud. We enforce strict encryption and access controls. Crucially, we commit to ethical AI, maintaining transparency, actively identifying bias, and fully making sure of compliance with international regulations like GDPR and CCPA/CPRA, building user trust in every solution we deploy.

We deployed VisionBot using their existing cameras to automatically detect and count different pipe types in real time. By integrating this objective data with their ERP, we eliminated daily manual counting and errors caused by fatigue. This gave them up-to-date and precise inventory checks between locations and storage areas, turning their surveillance system into a strong tool for improving operations.

The real challenge of visual AI lies not just in the technology but in its deployment, particularly the issue of data availability and scale. To provide real-time alerts from hundreds of cameras streaming at high definition, we need to ingest and store data in a database within tens of milliseconds. We’ve tackled the above problem by implementing an industry-leading, low-latency database to ensure synchronization and scalability. Furthermore, when deploying at scale, we often face a lack of training data for rare events, like an unexpected spark or a foreign object on a conveyor belt. We are constantly innovating methods to train our models effectively, even with minimal datasets for these crucial, rare use cases.

We use computer vision and AI to drive the future of smart cities, intelligent transport, and industrial safety. For smart cities, we enable public safety with advanced analytics, monitor crowds, and streamline infrastructure maintenance by detecting issues like potholes or littering. Our solutions for intelligent transportation control traffic flow, improve road safety through real-time collision detection, and lessen congestion by dynamically modifying signals. Lastly, for industrial safety, we offer ongoing remote monitoring, automatically check if personal protective equipment (PPE) is being used correctly, and spot possible dangers, enabling quick actions to protect important infrastructure.

We officially started our U.S. operations by establishing VisionBot Inc. in late 2024, marking a major step in our global expansion. Our strategy for North America focuses on building high-value strategic alliances with resellers and technology vendors, building our presence beyond existing regions. We are deepening partnerships with leaders like NVIDIA and Google Cloud to power our cutting-edge AI and deep learning solutions. We are innovating, aiming to establish VisionBot as the client’s preferred platform for the “Video Cloud,” providing comprehensive, scalable, and secure Visual AI services globally.
