Vande Bharat Express flagged off by PM Modi

Vande Bharat Express, According to the news from NDTV and as per the schedule drawn up for the newest Vande Bharat Express, today it is going to cover a distance of 5 hours and 15 minutes between Jaipur and Delhi Cantonment. PM Modi will flag off this express train, as reported via video conferencing, scheduled on 12th April, Wednesday, 2023. The inaugural will play between Jaipur and Delhi Cantt. The railway station and its regular service will commence from 13th April onwards on this route. It will be operational between Delhi Cantt and Ajmer, giving stops at Jaipur, Alwar and Gurgaon.

Shatabdi Express is the current fastest train operating on the same route. It takes 6 hours and 15 minutes to cover the same route. Thus, it’s a pleasure to announce that the new Vande Bharat Express will beat Shatabdi Express by 60 minutes time running on the same track. It has been reported that the Ajmer-Delhi Cantt. Vande Bharat Express is going to be the world’s first semi-high-speed passenger train operating through the high-rise overhead electric (OHE) territory.

Indians are going to witness improved connectivity in major tourist locations in Rajasthan, including Pushkar and the Ajmer Sharif Dargah, among other places that draw a bulk number of visitors each year. Thus, this train is going to enhance and make such destinations covered faster than ever. Increased connectivity will also widen the socio-economic development in these regions. On last 8th of April, our PM Narendra Modi flagged off the Chennai-Coimbatore Vande Bharat Express in Chennai. It operated as the second semi-high-speed class train to be flagged off on the same day after the Secunderabad-Tirupati Vande Bharat Express, starting off from the Secunderabad Railway Station in Telangana. Modi had flagged off the eighth India’s Vande Bharat Express, earlier this year in January, operating between Secunderabad and Vishakhapatnam. The Secunderabad-Tirupati Vande Bharat Express halts at Guntur, Ongole, Nalgonda and Nellore stations covering a distance of 660 metres between the cities.

The train is an indigenously manufactured, semi-high speed and self-propelled train set that is equipped with state-of-the-art passenger amenities, giving its passenger an experience of a faster, more comfortable and more convenient travel experience. Never Indians have experienced the feeling of such a faster journey in a bullet train that too in their own country.

Railway Minister Ashwini Vaiashnaw will be present at the Jaipur railway station assisted by other senior officials, on this launch date. On its inaugural run, this blue and white colour train will leave from Jaipur station and stop at 12 stations- Gandhinagar, Jaipur, Bassi, Dausa, Bandikui, Rajgarh, Alwar, Khairthal, Rewari, Pataudi Road, Garhi Harsaru Junction, Gurgaon and Delhi Cantonment. At each station, the train will give a halt of 2 minutes and reach its destination in 5 hours. It is good news that more than 500 students have received this golden opportunity to freely travel in the inaugural run of Rajasthan’s first semi-high-speed train today.  These are selected students from various schools through drawing, quiz, painting and essay competitions related to this expression. Thus, it is a good attempt to lead this super fast express train led by selected students.
