My professional journey began in 2021 when I laid the foundation for ValuGenius Advisors LLP. The firm came into existence in 2023, and a major victory was our approval from the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India in September 2023. As a valuation leader, I now guide our team in providing expert valuation services, committed to ensuring quality and trust for our clients.
Prime Insights: What inspired you to take the path of valuation, and what do you believe makes you stand out as an iconic leader?
I was inspired to enter the valuation field by the Companies Act, 2013, which mandated that all companies get valuation reports from IBBI-approved valuers. What sets me apart as a leader is our commitment to reliability. We leverage modern technology, including AI and S&P Capital IQ databases, a practice few others in our field follow, making sure that our reports are exceptionally reliable.
Prime Insights: What defining challenges or pivotal moments have shaped your leadership journey so far?
One defining challenge in my leadership journey has been securing the right clients who seek an accurate and reliable valuation. Navigating this has increased my focus on building trust and demonstrating the superior value of our services.
Prime Insights: Which industries do you significantly influence, and are there any notable collaborations you’d like to highlight?
We primarily influence Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) in the manufacturing, IT, and startup sectors. These businesses are vital contributors to our economy, and we are proud to support their growth and stability through accurate valuation services. We view our work as a true collaboration, helping these companies secure the proper value for their assets and future potential.
Prime Insights: How do you make sure that your company adapts to evolving markets, disruptions, and consumer needs?
We continually participate in the webinars and events conducted by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, which keep our organization updated with the latest developments in the market. This also helps us meet the changes in consumer demand.
Prime Insights:Could you share your vision for the future of your company and the industry at large?
Our vision is to become the No. 1 valuation company in India. Further, we are also planning to expand our footprint globally by acquiring additional qualifications, like CVA.
Prime Insights: What key milestones or achievements in the past year reflect your leadership excellence?
We carried out the valuation of Advait Infra Limited, a BSE Main Board Listed entity in which ace investor Ashish Kacholia has made an investment.
We also carried out a brand valuation of Zee Learn Limited, another listed company.
Apart from that, we have done valuations for various SME-listed companies.
