A recreational kaleidoscope, this amusement park is filled with natural wonders, adventures, sports, resorts, and eateries. It is a man-made jungle that provides tranquility to individuals seeking a break from their daily routine and work burden.
Prime Insights invited the Director Duo of The Grand Machal, Mr. Lavansh Rathore and Mr. Love Rathore, to know more about their venture and the story behind its inception, and it was a pleasure to have both the young entrepreneurial forces share the platform with us.

Mr. Lavansh Rathore: Thank you for sharing the platform with us, and we look forward to the conversation ahead. Like you asked, our venture, the Grand Machal, or as we call it TGM, is where adventure meets nature—a dynamic blend of thrilling sports, outdoor challenges, fun-filled activities, and delicious eateries. Spread across a man-made jungle, TGM is designed to break the monotony of routine life and recharge your spirit with excitement.
This place embodies our motto, “Peace & Joy,” as we bring people the best of both worlds—calm surroundings to relax and heart-racing adventures.
Situated just 19 km from Devi Ahilyabai Holkar International Airport, Indore, and 22 km from Indore Railway Station, we wanted to create a space where people of all age groups could unwind from their monotony.
Mr. Love Rathore: Like Lavansh explained, our journey began with a vision—to craft a destination where adventure and nature go hand in hand. What started with a simple motto, “to bring the thrill of adventure to every age group in the lap of nature,” has today blossomed into The Grand Machal—a unique world of experiences.
We believe that true joy lies in balance—the rush of adrenaline alongside the calm of nature, the laughter of families alongside the peace of solitude. This belief shaped TGM into more than just an adventure park; it became a place where memories are created, bonds are strengthened, and spirits are rejuvenated.
But our journey didn’t stop at adventure. Staying true to our roots, we embraced organic farming, ensuring that the food we serve is as pure as the land it comes from. To add more authenticity and flavor, we built our own in-house factories—from traditional sweets and savory namkeen to freshly baked delights and a dedicated masala plant, all crafted with care and passion. Today, The Grand Machal stands as Central India’s largest adventure park and nature retreat, driven by our purpose.
Prime Insights: What key challenges has your company overcome to reach this milestone?
Mr. Lavansh Rathore: Our primary challenges lie in two critical areas—consistent maintenance and effective labor management. Given the scale of our operations, regular upkeep of infrastructure, adventure equipment, and natural surroundings demands significant attention and resources. At the same time, managing a diverse workforce in terms of training, efficiency, and retention remains an ongoing task. Addressing these challenges is essential to ensure smooth operations, uncompromised safety standards, and the delivery of a seamless experience to our guests.
Having said that, we are working relentlessly to ensure that the safety protocols are maintained throughout without any scope of error. We prioritize the safety of our esteemed visitors and strive to provide them the best experience through TGM. We are experimenting with new strategies as well to reduce the bandwidth of these challenges and maintain a close-knit team.

“Our origins trace back to the launch of a small sweet shop in Indore started by Mr. Prakash Rathore in 1987. This store quickly gained popularity and expanded to meet the fast-growing demand for its unique-tasting sweets, local delicacies, and namkeen products. Our team worked cohesively their way up to launching an entire food chain, including sweets, namkeen, bakeries, and restaurants across Indore, Ujjain, and Dewas.
And in the year 2018, we launched The Grand Machal, a unique venture by Apna Sweets. This has been a journey filled with new chapters of learning every day. We got the opportunity to brainstorm in what ways we can do better each day and what improvements we can make to our business model to ensure we are able to put out everything quality-backed for our people.
