The foundation of my company, Swift Machines, was inspired by a very clear and critical gap I saw in the manufacturing sector: the desperate need for specialized, user-centric vertical injection moulding solutions in India. For years, manufacturers had to settle, choosing between expensive, high-cost imported machinery or local alternatives that simply lacked the necessary precision.
My inspiration was straightforward but profound: I recognized that Indian manufacturing needed a homegrown champion—a company that could engineer machines with world-class reliability, but designed specifically for the practical realities of our shop floors. I wanted to demystify insert moulding and take what was often a complex, labor-intensive process and turn it into a streamlined, “hassle-free” operation. This desire to simplify complexity became the cornerstone of our company.
It began as an optimistic dream—one that many industry experts told us was unachievable. As a family of engineers, we saw the need and, discovering the world of vertical injection moulding, realized there were no quality manufacturers in India. I was headstrong; I decided then and there that no matter what, we would achieve our dream of developing and manufacturing these machines in India.
My journey over the last decade has been defined by distinct phases:
- Mastering the Mechanics: In our early years, my absolute focus was on rigidity. We perfected the mechanical structure to build machines that were “built to last,” establishing a reputation for very high reliability under the toughest production cycles.
