Prime Insights: What’s the origin story of your company?
The idea of starting the company was triggered by the disturbing events that occurred during COVID. People were out of jobs and were facing financial stress because they ran out of their emergency funds and had to face rising inflation costs. That was also the year when maximum trading accounts were opened in the stock market. The company was started to educate people about the instruments available to create wealth.
Prime Insights: How have you kept a balance between your personal life and professional one?
I have always prioritized how I spend my time. The weekdays are focused on the company, but the weekends are a complete downtime for my personal pursuits. Even by nature, I am not a very hyper person, so I try to take things easy and look more for solutions than get caught up in the situation. Life is all about balance, and leading an imbalanced life always tips the scale for a worse outcome.
Prime Insights: What unique challenges have you faced as a business leader?
Being a business leader comes with its share of triumphs and failures, but having the right temperament can help you handle adverse situations better. You have to constantly be ready to face any curveball that may come your way. Life is unpredictable; circumstances may not be in our hands, but our conduct is.
Prime Insights: What kind of clients do you serve? Any special mentions?
Our clients include professionals, the business community, students, and even blue-collar staff. The intention is to make your money work for you. When you know you have that extra cash in your account, it adds that zing to your life. The company plans to target the NGOs to fulfill our CSR responsibilities.
Prime Insights: What strategies do you use to adapt to market changes?
You cannot be in the financial markets and not be updated about the events happening globally and locally. The past few years have been pretty eventful, and I do not think things are going to slow down. The country is on the express highway path, and continued growth and progress are expected from here onwards.
Prime Insights: What role does research and development play in your business strategy?
R&D is the strong element to form a sturdy base for any company. Research is what brings about innovation and improvement in products and processes. The 3 main categories of R&D are Basic Research, Applied Research, and Experimental Development. R&D can result in greater profits and lower costs.
Prime Insights: How important is employee satisfaction to your company’s success?
The company does not consider people to just be employees; they are your partners in the path to success. The company encourages every employee to speak their minds. Recognizing and rewarding employees is very important. Offering employees professional development opportunities creates an atmosphere of growth.
Prime Insights: Who are your role models, and what advice do you share with the ones who look up to you?
Every person you meet has something to offer in terms of growth. We are a reflection of the people we have come across in our lives—parents, teachers, mentors, colleagues, etc. To the ones who look up to me, I try to convey to keep your eyes and ears open and have that constant curiosity to question things around you. As people, we are constantly evolving, and we need to strive to be the best version of ourselves.
Prime Insights: What are your thoughts on leader participation in the entrepreneurial world?
Participative leadership involves actively including your employees in the decision-making process and encouraging collaboration. The employees feel respected and valued, and it also encourages innovation and creativity. We are living in an era of growth and discussion; the era of just giving orders to employees has been redundant.
Prime Insights: What message do you want to give to those business leaders who give up on their dreams because of some stereotypes?
Business leaders are constantly aware that they are dealing with variables. We need to focus on what we can control and let go of what we can’t. You have to keep moving forward and remember what inspired you to set out on this journey in the first place. The message is to keep moving instead of quitting; you never know what’s around the corner.
Prime Insights: What is your company’s vision for the future?
The company has insights about the current needs and wants of the market and the foresight to create the longer-term future needs. The future plans would involve strengthening the company identity, defining our purpose of operating, and creating a valued company known to deliver results. We intend to increase our funding from investors for further expansion of the company. The possibilities of partnerships with other allied firms exist to increase business prospects.
Prime Insights: What are your company’s most notable contributions to the industry?
Moneysignal Pvt Ltd has been in operations for the past 3 years, and we have consistently posted profits since inception. The company has also been awarded for being the top placer in finance by the International Trade Council in 2021. We were also nominated among the top 5000 best MSME awards in 2023. The company has shown consistent progress, laying the foundation for future growth. Our business model is the need of the hour, and we are looking forward to having many happy customers.
Prime Insights: How does your company contribute to the community?
The company has been in operations for only 3 years, so we are still not able to contribute much to CSR as we would like. We contribute in small amounts to animal shelters and food charity institutions. We do plan to increase our contribution as the company grows and hopefully creates a meaningful existence. We do participate in volunteer programs to do our bit for society.
Prime Insights: Lastly, is there a message you would like to give to Prime Insights readers?
The only impossible journey is the one you never began. Taking one step at a time is more important than inaction. Things just don’t happen; you have to make them happen. The entrepreneurial journey is fraught with trials and tribulations, but that’s what makes the journey so fantastic. You have only one life; try to live the best life possible and be accountable for it. Nothing succeeds like success.
