Prime Insights: Can you introduce yourself and share your role in driving HR technology innovation?
We are a team of HR professionals currently driving innovation through our HRMS platform, Simpli, apart from having a different business vertical that is focused on HR advisory, consulting, training, and development. In the HR technology sphere, we started as a firm offering bespoke HR automation solutions. We have successfully developed diversified HR solutions for a wide range of businesses over the last 5-6 years, and we have recently launched our SaaS-based HRMS platform along with a mobile app.
Prime Insights: What inspired your journey into HR tech, and how has it evolved over the years?
Our journey into HR technology was driven by the need to solve real-world workplace challenges around basic HR transactions, payroll, compliance, and workforce administration. What began as an effort to streamline operations has evolved into building Simpli HRMS as a comprehensive platform that empowers organizations with actionable insights and strategic decision-making capabilities.
With the mobile app now, our attempt is to further simplify the life of an employee where the ease of doing basic hygiene HR is on their palms and it’s done on the go. This approach is a win-win for both the organizations and the employees.
Prime Insights: How do you define the role of HR technology in transforming modern workforce management?
HR technology today is a strategic enabler rather than just an operational tool. Platforms like Simpli HRMS help organizations automate processes, improve compliance accuracy, and unlock workforce insights, enabling HR teams to shift their focus from administration to driving engagement, productivity, and business outcomes. Increasingly, the leadership of any business relies a lot on data. With the workforce insights from multiple reports drawn from any HR tech solutions, businesses stand to gain by taking key decisions.
Prime Insights: What key solutions or platforms have you developed or implemented to enhance HR processes?
Simpli HRMS was developed by HR professionals specifically for the needs of other HR professionals. Unlike most HR tech companies, we are a unique firm that has developed the platform with employee lifecycle management in mind. We have kept things simple and intuitive as much as possible. Our attempt has been to simplify the lives of the leadership, the line managers, and the HR team.
Some of our key features include e-Onboarding, in-house built payroll software, a performance management process, expense management, project & timesheet management, and exit management. All these modules have helped our clients navigate their businesses with ease. And now with a SaaS platform + a mobile app, we are moving towards our motto of ‘workplace simplification.”
Prime Insights: What differentiates your approach to HR technology in a competitive and rapidly evolving market?
What differentiates Simpli HRMS is our deep understanding of complexities involved in today’s HR operations that are very unique to India. We focus on simplifying complex HR processes through automation, ensuring adaptability to regulatory changes, and delivering a seamless, intuitive experience for both HR teams and employees.
As mentioned above, we are a unique firm where HR professionals are deeply involved in the development of the software. Our uniqueness also lies in the fact that we are catering to the startup and SME communities in India, where the need for automation is very high, and at the same time, there is an element of price sensitivity.
Prime Insights: Can you highlight a major milestone or achievement that reflects your impact in HR tech?
We are a firm that is still evolving in this space, and we feel there is a lot of work to be done in it in our country. We have never marketed our product aggressively. Now with the mobile app, we are investing in our GTM strategy to make a deeper impact by targeting specific customer segments and enhancing our marketing efforts to increase product awareness and adoption. We are very sure some important milestones and achievements will be realized soon.
Prime Insights: How do you leverage AI, automation, and data analytics to improve employee experience and organizational efficiency?
We haven’t yet leveraged AI much on our platform for the simple reason that it is a tool readily available off any platform. We believe many small and mid-size businesses in our country are still embracing HR automation apart from embracing HR as an important function in their respective organizations. Our attempt will be to stay focused on simplifying the basic HR operations, and we feel our mobile app is a step in the right direction.
Prime Insights: How do you make sure of seamless integration of HR tech solutions with existing business systems?
Simpli HRMS is designed in a way that allows it to easily connect with finance systems, biometric devices, and other business tools using features like APIs and SSO. Our goal is to ensure minimal disruption while enabling a unified and consistent data ecosystem.
Prime Insights: Can you share a success story where your HR tech solutions significantly improved workforce productivity or engagement?
One of our clients was able to reduce payroll processing time drastically after implementing Simpli HRMS (Human Resource Management System) while also achieving higher accuracy and compliance. This not only improved employee satisfaction but also allowed their HR team to focus on more strategic initiatives, such as developing employee training programs and enhancing recruitment processes.
There have been clients who have used the performance management module to track employee performance, which has a direct impact on business performance. This paperless exercise has simplified the whole process and made it nimble.
Some clients find the use of the e-Onboarding module a huge help since it simplifies the whole documentation work for a new joiner. This further saves a lot of time for the HR teams to focus on conducting a more robust in-person induction.

Organizations often struggle with resistance to change, lack of clarity, and integration challenges. With Simpli HRMS, we address these issues through structured onboarding, hands-on training, and continuous support, ensuring a smooth transition and measurable value realization. Our dedicated and personalized support helps the organizations to make sure of maximum utilization of HRMS.
Prime Insights: How do you address data privacy, security, and compliance concerns in HR tech solutions?
Data security is a core priority within Simpli HRMS. We are a SOC 1 Type 2 compliant system and have this audit done every year.
Prime Insights: How do you foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within your teams?
There is a lot of learning that happens on the job for our tech team members. We also supported them in acquiring new skills since our new, enhanced HRMS was being built on a new platform, which included training sessions and resources to help them adapt to the changes effectively. Our daily tech calls provide opportunities for a lot of cross-learning.
Prime Insights: What emerging trends do you foresee shaping the future of HR technology by 2026 and beyond?
AI-driven decision-making, predictive analytics, and experience-centric platforms will shape the future of HR technology. Solutions like Simpli HRMS will increasingly integrate with broader business ecosystems, offering deeper insights and more personalized employee journeys, which will enhance overall workforce engagement and productivity.
Prime Insights: What are your future goals in advancing HR tech solutions and expanding your impact globally?
To mark our 15 years of journey in January 2026, we signed a JV with one of our Dubai-based clients. We plan to test the Middle Eastern market in the coming times. This is our first international foray, and we are excited about this opportunity. Aside from that, we will continue to evolve as per the changing trends in the HR tech industry. As mentioned earlier, India holds immense potential for a product like ours, and we plan to stay invested in it.
