In 2019, I, along with some visionary colleagues, saw a challenge. Businesses hungered for fresh, innovative IT solutions, and young talent needed the right professional education to propel India’s IT scene. Fueled by our tech passion and commitment to excellence, we had a vision: a company that would surpass client expectations. With a clear roadmap and dedication to value, we built Upsurge Infotech, and it’s become a leader in IT services and solutions.
From the beginning, understanding our clients’ specific needs has been core to Upsurge Infotech’s success. We don’t offer a one-size-fits-all solution. Instead, we take the time to learn about each business and customize our IT services accordingly. This focus, coupled with our commitment to staying at the forefront of technology and investing in our team’s expertise, has allowed us to become a trusted partner for businesses looking to navigate digital transformation.
Prime Insights: How did you manage to strike a balance between your professional and personal lives?
Founding Upsurge Infotech five years ago has been an incredible journey. While undeniably challenging, it’s also been the most exciting and fulfilling period of my life. This isn’t just because of the work itself, but also because of the invaluable experience gained during the company’s foundation, navigating the unexpected hurdles of the global pandemic, and ultimately guiding Upsurge Infotech to where it stands today.
Balancing between personal and professional lives is not easy for many of us, but my professional life helped me manage my personal life and vice versa.
I feel, as well as I believe, that being successful doesn’t just mean making a lot of money. It means achieving success in all aspects of life, whether it’s nabbing my big client or simply being there for the people most important to me.
I think we are never going to get our best work done if we are not willing to dedicate our 100% to every aspect of life.
Prime Insights: As a business leader, how does your journey of overcoming challenges and obstacles differ from that of others in similar positions?
My story of being a business leader is never about struggle. It’s always been passion, dedication, and commitment. My vision was always clear, and that is why the roadmap of the business plan never made me struggle. What people call a struggle, for me, was an unforgettable experience of sheer hard work.

In the digital transformation and education space, Upsurge Infotech serves a broad client base. We work with both B2C and B2B clients across various industries. This allows us to tailor our solutions and ensure they truly meet each client’s specific needs.

Keeping up with the rapidly changing trends in the industry is essential for staying relevant and competitive in today’s dynamic business landscape.
In this fast-paced, changing world, we make sure that we keep ourselves updated about the services we offer to our clients, and for that, we do extensive research and market surveys on several levels just to make sure we deliver what the industry demands.
We actively monitor industry trends, market dynamics, and technological developments to identify emerging opportunities and potential disruptors. We embrace an agile and adaptive approach to project management and solution delivery, enabling us to respond quickly to changing market conditions, customer feedback, and technological advancements.

Absolutely, Our R&D team is the engine of Upsurge’s growth. The R&D team fosters innovation by encouraging experimentation and the pursuit of new ideas. This innovation can manifest in various forms, including novel products, services, or processes, all of which can set a company apart from its competitors and capture the imagination of consumers.
I strongly believe that research and development (R&D) is not just essential but pivotal for the sustained growth and success of any company.
R&D opens up opportunities for market expansion and diversification. By exploring new technologies, industries, and market segments, companies can expand their product offerings, reach new customers, and enter untapped markets, driving revenue growth and profitability.

When it comes to leadership, I think business owners must possess both entrepreneurial and leadership qualities, combining the characteristics of entrepreneurship with the spirit of leadership. Also, leadership is responsible for developing innovative products, methods, and expansion opportunities in existing businesses, as well as participating in social institutions and addressing social problems that are often overlooked.
I believe a good leader always prioritizes communication as a cornerstone, with leaders needing to articulate a clear vision, goals, and expectations to inspire and align their teams. Fostering a culture of innovation is essential, as is encouraging creativity, experimentation, and a willingness to take calculated risks. As per me, leaders must prioritize talent acquisition and development, building diverse teams with complementary skills, and providing opportunities for growth and learning.
I strongly believe that every leader must navigate challenges, setbacks, and failures with grace and determination, inspiring their teams to persevere in the face of adversity.

Don’t let stereotypes dim your entrepreneurial fire! Building a business requires long-term commitment, but the rewards of leaving a positive impact and achieving your vision are immense. Remember, success comes from hard work, passion, and a willingness to persevere through challenges. So, keep striving and never give up on your dreams!
Don’t let doubt hold you back! As a woman in business, I’ve experienced my share of skepticism. But success isn’t about gender; it’s about passion, perseverance, and a commitment to excellence. Overcoming stereotypes fueled my determination, and today, my company thrives. Surround yourself with those who believe in you, and never underestimate the power of your own resilience.
