A video on ‘Time Travel is Real’ of MS Dhoni from 2040 shocks fans and goes viral

News from NDTV Sports has published a recent video from an Instagram user with the caption: ‘Brooooo Dhoni from 2040 is watching this match’. During the 41st IPL 2023 game, his doppelgänger was noticed in the crowd.

MS Dhoni is on the verge of putting curtains on his career of cricketing. However, his craze among his fans is elevating with time and each passing day. The former captain of the Indian Cricket Team called time on his international career on August 15, 2020, but stood as an active player in the IPL (Indian Premier League). He is the skipper of Chennai Super Kings or as we know CSK at the T20 extravaganza and his charm continues to spread with his lightning glove work behind the stumps, using power whilst batting, and his grand design while serving as captain.

While his videos show brilliance on and off the ground and keep circulating, a new viral clip is on the loose. It is getting spread on social media which doesn’t have the CSK skipper in it. What takes centre stage in the video is an old man looking similar to what Dhoni would look like at that age. The clip is from the IPL match number 41 of 2023, being played between Chennai Super Kings and Punjab Kings at the MA Chidambaram Stadium. Somewhere on Instagram, one user wrote, ‘Time Travel is possible’. ‘Out of all jokes what if this is real, then users may have to wait for 2040’, was commented by another fan.

Many had already speculated the ongoing IPL season to be Dhoni’s last but his former India and CSK teammate Suresh Raina has revealed what the ‘Thala’ told him on the subject of retirement. He claimed that it was merely some information that his followers wanted to know. According to a Jio Cinema report from The Indian Express, Raina has disclosed what the seasoned wicket-keeper batsman told him during their most recent meeting during the current IPL season.  He said, “Main trophy jeetke ek saal aur khelunga,” after receiving the award. I’ll play for another year after winning the trophy (after that).”

This clip of the former India captain demonstrating his prowess both on and off the ground is still making the rounds on social media. There have been several stunning moments in the IPL’s current season thus far.  This new clip from an IPL match has grabbed the attention of many cricket fans across the world. It stunned many people, even though it does not include the CSK skipper. The clip from CSK’s clash against Punjab Kings on April 30 at Chidambaram Stadium featured a senior citizen who resembled MS Dhoni.

The CSK will take on Delhi Capitals in their upcoming fixture in the IPL 2023 and the match will be contested in Chennai on Wednesday, May 10. After winning six of their 11 games, the four-time IPL winners are presently ranked second with 13 points in the IPL 2023 points standings. Dc, on the other hand, has had a miserable season thus far and is presently ranked seventh. Chennai and Delhi both have victories in their previous games. Five times Mumbai Indians were defeated by CSK in the second fixture on May 6 in Chennai. Meanwhile, on the same day, Delhi defeated RCB in their last match at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi.
