LAVIZEN Healthcare Pvt. Ltd.
“Our mission is simple yet powerful: “Providing impactful life for the best living experience.”
Animal wellness and healthcare are the core focus for today’s company in this editorial release. Having the opportunity to interact with leaders and their brainchildren who have immense passion for animal healthcare and welfare was an epiphany moment for our editorial team. We say so because our conversation with T. Sriram Bhagavat, Managing Director at LAVIZEN, and Dr. Pooja Bharadwaj Goutam, GM Sales and Marketing at LAVIZEN, was empowering in a sense that made us proud of seeing organizations working diligently for Naimal wellness for the past 40 years.
Now giving our readers a brief introduction about LAVIZEN, it stands today as a pioneer and one of the fastest-growing solution providers in animal healthcare. By integrating practical field knowledge with advanced scientific research, we deliver scientifically validated, commercially tested, effective, safe, and consistently reliable animal healthcare products.
The name LAVIZEN is derived from two words—LAVI, meaning “lion,” and ZEN, meaning “life.” Together, LAVIZEN represents strong, impactful healthcare solutions designed to ensure a happy, healthy, and meaningful life for animals.
The Inception Story
LAVIZEN’s journey began in 1980 when Mr. T. SridharBhagavat, a visionary and philanthropic leader, established Sri Aditya Farm, a commercial layer farm in Mysuru. His scientific approach to poultry farming and his genuine intention to uplift society laid the foundation of LAVIZEN’s ethos. He treated every employee as family and constantly explored how knowledge within the Bhagavat family could contribute to the
welfare of animals and farmers.
In 2005, Mr. T. Sriram Bhagavat (MD, LAVIZEN Healthcare Pvt. Ltd.) joined his father and launched Vishnu Agency to gain deeper insights into the animal health market. After his father’s sudden demise, he took over the reins and realized his father’s dream by establishing LAVIZEN. Guided by a strong value system, LAVIZEN now operates with a robust R&D facility and a state-of-the-art exclusive manufacturing unit (Dhanwantari Medicare) dedicated solely to LAVIZEN’s products.
Facing the Challenges Wth Strategy and Grit
LAVIZEN’s primary challenge in the initial years was building customer trust in a rapidly evolving and highly competitive market. Due to the abundance of similar products, farmers often grew skeptical about innovation or product differentiation. Another major challenge was the limited awareness among poultry farmers about preventive care such as vaccinations, biosecurity, nutritional management, and proper lighting programs. Many farmers sought solutions only after disease outbreaks. Additionally, in remote regions, limited veterinary access further complicated preventive care.
“LAVIZEN’s strength lies in beingdeeply rooted in the poultry community. Through continuous farmer interaction and field presence, we understand real problems and create tailored, costeffective solutions.”
Creating Differentiations in the Animal Health Industry
Drawing from over 40 years of poultry industry experience, LAVIZEN delivers consistent, trusted, and scientifically validated solutions. The formulations are sourced from trusted suppliers, tested at LAVIZEN’s proprietary farms for at least one full production cycle, and manufactured with uncompromised quality. Some of their standout products include:

Importance Of Sustainability, Biosecurity, and Environmental Responsibility
To honor the legacy of Mr. T. Sridhar Kumar Bhagavat, the family established a trust in 2022 focusing on community welfare. Activities include:
- Monthly distribution of snacks to children’s homes in Vijayanagar, Mysuru
- Distribution of sanitary napkins to girls’ homes in Siddhartha Nagar
- Funding education for underprivileged children
- Installing borewells and electric water systems for the people and wildlife of Nagarahole
- Additionally, Mr. T. Sriram Bhagavat has taken the responsibility of the Aashianaa Institute for Special Children as the institution’s treasurer, supporting autistic and MR children with physiotherapy, speech therapy, and parental counseling.
- LAVIZEN is also associated with Sri Vasavi Shantidhama, dedicated to eldercare and large-scale social service initiatives.
- Sarika Cattle Farms, run out of passion rather than commercial intent, stands among the top three farms in Mysuru for quality milk yield.
LAVIZEN’s strength lies in being deeply rooted in the poultry community. Through continuous farmer interaction and field presence, we understand real problems and create tailored, cost-effective solutions. ISO standards, robust R&D, and annual farm-level validations ensure reliable performance. Third-party analysis further reinforces trust and transparency.
An Inspiring Success Story
During the conversation the dignitaries shared an inspiring success story when LAVIZEN’s preventive care solutions made a significant impact on farmers, pet owners, or communities. The story comes from Palani Andavar Poultry Farm (35,000 BV300 birds). The farm was experiencing ILT and respiratory issues. Based on the advice of Dr. Gobi P (GM – Technical & Sales), the birds were supplemented with Power Garlic 25%. The results were remarkable, as it led to the mortality rate being reduced to 3% compared to 30% in the previous flock and the ILT impact being significantly minimized. The poultry farmer shared extremely positive feedback. This is just one of countless success stories across India.
Engaging in a Culture Of Continuous Learning, Research, Innovation, And Collaboration
LAVIZEN actively collaborates with universities, veterinarians, and nutritionists. The post-launch feedback system ensures every brand evolves with changing field demands. Feedback on formulation, packaging, distribution, and farm experience is treated as constructive input for improvement. Their real-time feedback helps refine formulations and improve practicality, ensuring provided solutions meet modern farm challenges.
Goals Aligned For Years To Come
As far as goals regarding product development, technological advancement, market reach, and global expansion are concerned, LAVIZEN aims to diversify beyond poultry into cattle, small ruminants, and other livestock divisions. Their long-term vision is to serve animals across the world with advanced preventivecare solutions. The execution plans for 2026 and beyond will be focused on further refining R&D, expanding sustainable, sciencebacked products, and strengthening ties with farmers.
Addressing The Readership Panel With Enlightening Words
Reaching towards the end of the conversation, our editorial team thanked Mr. T. Sriram Bhagavat for sharing gems from his treasure of knowledge. As he has seen diverse chapters of entrepreneurship during the past 40 years of building LAVIZEN, it was mandatory for us to ask him to share some advice for the aspiring era of entrepreneurs. This is what he has to say for our readership panel:
“My journey in the animal health and preventive-care space has taught me one powerful truth: progress comes from patience, consistency, and a willingness to learn every single day. When I started, I didn’t come from a traditional pharmaceutical or veterinary background. I built my understanding hands-on—studying formulations, visiting plants, learning machinery, speaking to farmers and veterinarians, and constantly improving based on real-world needs. That experience shaped my belief that anyone with commitment and curiosity can create meaningful impact in this sector.
To aspiring entrepreneurs, I want to say this: don’t wait for perfect conditions. Start where you are, use what you have, and build step by step. This industry rewards sincerity. When you focus on quality, safety, and genuine value for farmers and animals, people notice. Innovation doesn’t always mean inventing something new—often, it means improving what already exists, making it cleaner, safer, more efficient, and
more accessible.
Stay humble, stay grounded, and stay close to the field. Talk to your customers. Visit farms. Understand the challenges on the ground—because the best ideas don’t come from offices; they come from the real world. And above all, maintain integrity in your products and processes. In the long run, trust becomes your greatest asset. If you’re willing to work hard, think long-term, and keep your purpose at the center, this industry will give you more satisfaction than you ever expected. I’m still learning every day—and that’s the beauty of this journey.
