Shah Rukh Khan was born on 2 November 1965 in New Delhi. He initially spent his childhood with his maternal grandfather in Mangalore. His father ventured into various business ventures and provided him with a modest middle-class lifestyle. Shahrukh attended the St. Columba’s School in New Delhi. He was an excellent student who excelled both in sports and academics in school. Because of his performance, he achieved the highest honor of his school—the Sword of Honor. Shah Rukh Khan had a passion for sports and wished to pursue a career in sports, but that dream was shattered due to a critical injury in his shoulder. In 2000 and 2001, he starred in movies like Mohabbatein and Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham alongside Amitabh Bachchan, which created a different perspective in Bollywood due to the ideological struggle between the two leading characters in the movie. These movies were highly successful. In 2002, Shah Rukh Khan acted in the movie Devdas, which was one of the most expensive Bollywood movies to be produced at that time. His comeback is a story of its own when, in 2004, he transformed Dreamz Unlimited into Red Chilli Entertainment and produced successful movies, like Main Hoon Na and Veer Zaara, which were some of the highest-earning movies at that time.
