Shah Rukh Khan was born on 2 November 1965 in New Delhi. He initially spent his childhood with his maternal grandfather in Mangalore. His father ventured into various business ventures and provided him with a modest middle-class lifestyle. Shahrukh attended the St. Columba’s School in New Delhi. He was an excellent student who excelled both in sports and academics in school. Because of his performance, he achieved the highest honor of his school—the Sword of Honor. Shah Rukh Khan had a passion for sports and wished to pursue a career in sports, but that dream was shattered due to a critical injury in his shoulder.
