Prime Insights: Brief us on the origin story of the company.
Burned out from a demanding job, I sought a more fulfilling path. Inspired by a quote, if you make your passion your career, then the problem in front of you seems easier because you start enjoying solving those problems. Emphasizing passion over profession, I combined my love for travel with entrepreneurial aspirations, leading to the birth of my travel agency. That’s when the idea of starting a travel agency took shape.
Prime Insights: How have you kept a balance between your personal life and professional one?
I’ve always maintained clear boundaries between work and personal life. I never bring my office problems to home or home problems to the office. I’ve always made a conscious effort to separate professional and personal commitments. By setting clear boundaries, I’ve been able to dedicate quality time to both aspects of my life.
Prime Insights: Being a leader, is your story of struggle any different from others?
From a middle-class upbringing to entrepreneurial dreams, my journey was full of challenges. Early entrepreneurial ventures, like renting comics, fueled my ambition. Financial constraints and the demands of early jobs shaped my resilience. I learned to be self-reliant, a quality essential for leadership.
Prime Insights: What kind of clients do you serve? Any special mentions?
CheapflyingFare deals in the ticketing industry, so we serve B2B and B2C, both the clients who travel all over the world. Our customer base consists of the United States, Canada, and India. Cheapflyingfares caters to both business and leisure travelers.
Prime Insights: How do you keep up the pace with the changing market trends?
We stay ahead of the curve by actively participating in industry conferences and summits every year. This helps us understand market trends and adapt our offerings accordingly, ensuring we consistently deliver the best value to our clients.
Prime Insights: Do you believe R&D is essential for the growth of the company?
I’m a loyal advocate for robust R&D investment. It’s the lifeblood of innovation and sustained business growth. I personally allocate significant resources towards R&D within my organization. Every forward-thinking business should prioritize research and development.
Prime Insights: How necessary do you feel it is to keep your employees’ content? How do you ensure it?
I believe in creating a strong company culture built on open communication and mutual respect. By treating my employees like family, I’ve created a positive work environment that drives productivity and loyalty. A happy employee is the backbone of any successful business.
Prime Insights: Who do you look up to, and what do you convey further to the ones who look up to you?
My mother’s resilience, shaped by a life of struggle, has been my guiding light. Her unwavering spirit taught me the importance of perseverance and the power of human potential. I’ve carried her lessons with me, always striving to explore, learn, and grow.
Prime Insights: What are your thoughts on leader participation in the entrepreneurial world?
Leader participation in the entrepreneurial world is crucial for several reasons. Effective leaders in this space often provide vision, strategic direction, and motivation, which are essential for a startup’s success. Leaders provide strategic direction, manage risks, and inspire teams. Their active involvement is crucial for driving growth and achieving organizational goals.
Prime Insights: What message do you want to give to those leaders who give up on their dreams because of some stereotypes?
I would like to say to such leaders that failure teaches you only two things: either fall completely or get up and fight for the dreams you have seen and fulfill them. These are your dreams, and only you can decide how important these dreams are for you.
Prime Insights: What milestones and achievements does the company boast of?
Our journey is full of consistent growth and innovation. Over eight successful years, including three major US projects, we’ve solidified our commitment to delivering exceptional service. As we celebrate these milestones, we reaffirm our dedication to future success, fueled by your unwavering support.
Prime Insights: How are you giving back to society (CSR)?
CheapflyingFare is committed to social responsibility. Our Jeevan Shakti Foundation, with its Shiksha Shakti Free Education Center, embodies this commitment by providing underprivileged children with education, nutrition, and holistic development. We aim to empower these young minds to become future leaders.
Prime Insights: Lastly, is there a message you would like to give to Prime Insights readers?
I encourage everyone to step outside their comfort zones and explore the world. Books can only teach so much; real-life experiences are the true educators. So, pack your bags and embark on an adventure.
