Prime Insights: What leadership style do you follow?
I follow an authentic leadership style built on trust, transparency, and shared responsibility. Based on authentic management principles, my approach to leadership is adaptable and collaborative. I encourage open communication, creativity, and lifelong learning to empower my team. We solve problems as a team. and advance the business by appreciating the opinions of all members and fostering innovation.
Prime Insights: How do you motivate and inspire your team?
Well, I firmly believe that creating an environment at work that is welcoming and inclusive, where everyone feels heard and respected, is essential for inspiring and motivating my team. I give chances for career advancement, honor, and reward accomplishments, and promote striking a balance between creative freedom and accountability.
Prime Insights: What has been your most significant achievement as a director until now?
As the Marketing Director I am focused on creating brand awareness for the organization on a Pan-India basis. Earlier, the primary focus was on Gujarat and the Westen region clients. I majorly focused on getting clients from all over India.
Prime Insights: Can you share an example of a challenging project you led and how you overcame obstacles?
One of the most challenging projects I ever led in my previous company was transitioning from marketing to operations to smoothen our organization’s processes. When I took on this role, I could see the absence of synergy between various departments and productivity issues in our operations.
I assessed workflows, applied new systems, and technologies to optimize operations, such as revamping supply chain management and inventory control systems, and built a high-performance team to achieve certifications and boost productivity.
Transforming the company’s culture was another major challenge. I also introduced reward programs to recognize outstanding performance and appreciate the performers, which boosted their morale. These efforts led to a more efficient, positive, and motivated work environment. This project showcased my ability to lead complex transitions, solve multifaceted challenges, and implement sustainable practices for the mutual benefit of the organization and its employees.
In my present company, entering a new segment and securing trial orders from one of the key clients was a significant challenge. The high cost of the machinery and the potential productivity losses usually deter clients from agreeing to trials. We demonstrated long-term benefits and built trust, ultimately securing an important order.
Convincing clients to adopt our new printing process was another battle. Higher initial costs of our products were a barrier. We highlighted lower MOQ and lesser development costs while emphasizing premium quality to persuade clients for higher cost of our products.
Prime Insights: How have your initiatives contributed to the growth and success of the company?
I supported our operations team by onboarding the appropriate consultants for certification and technical assistance. Through this approach, the company was able to build laminates vertical more quickly and obtain the necessary certifications, including BRC and Ecovadis, in a short time.
I initiated new product developments in the tea segment and also consolidated the existing segment of agrochemicals by onboarding new key accounts, which contributed to increasing revenues.
Prime Insights: What strategies have you used to build strong customer relationships?
I believe personalized interaction, regular contact, and keeping our word are all essential to developing great client relationships.Transparency and Comfort in our dealings are the two main key words in establishing long term relationships with our clients.We actively attend and participate in various trade exhibitions, network professionally on LinkedIn, and get inputs from clients to better understand their needs. Through the provision of superior products and outstanding customer service, we have established long-lasting partnerships founded on mutual respect and trust.
Prime Insights: What innovative strategies have you implemented to stay ahead in the industry?
I’ve led initiatives in sustainable packaging, data analytics, and digital marketing to drive growth. Our low MOQ pouch innovation has been a game-changer, enhancing product appeal and expanding our market reach.

Staying agile and responsive is key to our competitiveness. We invest in R&D, conduct market research, build a strong digital presence, and foster a culture of innovation to stay ahead.
Prime Insights: How important is research and development in your company’s growth strategy?
R&D is the backbone of our growth strategy. We invest in new product development, process improvements, and market research to maintain our continued leadership in the industry.
Prime Insights: How do you approach risk management and decision-making in uncertain times?
In uncertain times, risk management and decision-making require a balanced approach of caution and agility. We rely on data-driven insights from our ERP systems and market research to make informed decisions. We quickly adapt to changes and mitigate risks effectively by maintaining open communication with all stakeholders and building a flexible and resilient team culture.
Prime Insights: Can you share a successful cost-saving or revenue-generating initiative you implemented?
One successful initiative was the introduction of low MOQ pouches without cylinders, which was driven by direct customer feedback. This innovation not only met the demand for more convenient packaging but also significantly boosted our sales and market share. Additionally, using ERP systems for efficient data management and streamlining our operations has resulted in major cost savings and improved overall productivity.
Prime Insights: What CSR initiatives have you spearheaded, and what impact have they had on the community?
Our CSR initiatives focus on environmental sustainability and community development. We have implemented programs for waste reduction, recycling, and use of biodegradable materials. These efforts have not only positively impacted the environment and community but also enhanced our corporate reputation and strengthened our stakeholder relationships.

In the next five years, my goals are to further advance our sustainability initiatives, expand our market presence globally, and continue innovating our product offerings. I aspire to lead Gujarat Print Pack Publications to become a benchmark for excellence in the packaging industry, recognized for our commitment to quality, sustainability, and customer satisfaction.

My advice to aspiring directors and future leaders is to embrace change and foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation. Be adaptable, data-driven, and open to new ideas. Invest in your team’s development and create an inclusive and collaborative work environment. Lead by example, maintain integrity, and always keep the customer at the center of your strategies.

Resilience, adaptability, and a relentless pursuit of knowledge have shaped my journey. Each challenge has been an opportunity to innovate and grow. At every stage of my career, I have also given importance to educating myself by joining courses offered by various IIMs. I have been recently selected by IIM Bangalore for International Management Program conducted by Dr.Henry Mintzberg.
