Vanaura Organics was founded by Dr. Nayana Sivaraj, who envisioned safe and natural alternatives to synthetic skincare. Each product goes through our tick 5 journey before it reaches you. It begins with ethical sourcing from our 100-acre COSMOS-certified farm in the Western Ghats. The ingredients are then processed using Pañcavidha Kalpana (पञ्चविधकल्पना) and enriched with biotech-derived plant actives. They are carefully crafted into safe formulations, packaged sustainably, and designed to deliver deep, transformative care. By blending Ayurvedic wisdom with advanced organic technology, Vanaura creates conscious personal care that nurtures skin and hair from within.

Prime Insights: What inspired you to venture into organic beauty and wellness?
When I started practicing after completing my MD in Ayurveda, I met many patients concerned about their skin issues. I wanted to recommend Ayurvedic products, but when I looked closely at the creams available in the market-whether herbal, Ayurvedic, or natural based- I was shocked to see that most of them contained Ayurvedic ingredients, yet they also had harmful synthetic ingredients. Countries such as the UK have banned many of these chemicals, but India continues to widely use them.
Learning about the long-term effects of these ingredients-hormonal disruptions, deposit to internal organs, and other health risks-pushed me to explore safer alternatives. I began researching ways to replace synthetic bases with natural and certified organic ones, combining Ayurveda with advanced organic technology, in collaboration with international labs and cosmetic experts.
After 3 years of research, our first product, Rejuvinita 4-in-1 Gel, was born. It wasn’t planned as a brand initially; it started purely as a research-driven solution. But once the product was ready, we realized the potential, and that’s how Vanaura Organics began.
Prime Insights: What unique challenges have you faced in promoting organic skincare, and how have you overcome them?
One of our greatest challenges has been the lack of awareness about what organic skincare truly means and the misunderstanding of what Ayurveda really stands for. Too often, products with just a few herbal ingredients are labeled “Ayurvedic,” without any backing of authentic Ayurvedic science. This creates confusion and dilutes the meaning of both organic and Ayurveda.
We’ve addressed this challenge by focusing on education and transparency-showing people the difference through our COSMOS-certified farming, use of Pañcavidha Kalpana, and formulations enriched with advanced plant actives. By combining authenticity with science, we’ve been able to build trust and shift perceptions.

Rejuvinita Gold Night Cream
When I created Rejuvinita Gold, my idea was simple, skin at every age has its own concerns, so its care should be different too. That’s why this became India’s first age-specific night cream, with unique formulations for 14+, 23+, 32+, and 46+. Each one is designed to address the real needs of that stage of life-whether it’s teenage breakouts, early signs of dullness, fine lines, or loss of firmness. By working with the skin’s natural repair cycle at night, it gives the right care at the right time.
The Rejuvinita Gold Series was developed as an overnight rejuvenation therapy to target age-related concerns like dullness, pigmentation, wrinkles, and damage from pollution or blue light. It combines two powerful specialty ingredients-the Saffron Brightening Elixir and Black Seed Bakuchiol-enriched with 24-carat colloidal gold, saffron, and other 25 plant-based actives.

Most sunscreens on the market use filters that can harm the skin, disrupt hormones, or even damage marine life.Our sunblock is built on five advanced eco-safe organic UV filters that provide broad-spectrum protection against UVA and UVB rays while being free from oxybenzone, avobenzone, OMC, titanium dioxide, and other harmful chemicals.

When it comes to keeping our ingredients pure, we start at the source. Many ingredients come from our own farms in the Western Ghats, and we also work with trusted local collectors to gather them at the right time.
Once they reach our unit, we process them using an Ayurvedic method called dravya paka vidhi, which keeps the raw materials effective and natural. We grow our ingredients using organic, eco-friendly practices, and collaborate with labs in Spain and the UK for a few high-performance actives.
For me, it’s all about combining Ayurveda with advanced organic technology, so every product is safe, natural, and truly effective.

At the same time, skincare today needs to be effective, safe, and easy to use, which is why we combine Ayurveda with advanced organic technology. This approach allows us to create products that are gentle yet powerful, delivering real results without harmful chemicals or complicated routines.

We educate consumers about the benefits of organic skincare through social media posts, podcasts, blogs, and videos. We share insights about ingredients, ayurvedic wisdom, and safe skincare practices, helping people understand how natural products work for their skin and make informed choices.
Prime Insights: What role do sustainability and eco-friendly packaging play in your brand’s mission?
For me, sustainability is paramount. That’s why we use glass for most of our products and jute or paper for packaging, keeping plastic to a minimum. And when we do use plastic, it’s always recyclable.
I want everything we do to come from nature and go back to it. From how we source ingredients to the way we package them, it’s all about balance, zero waste, and caring for the planet-not just the skin.

There are so many stories from our customers who truly make me proud. Many come to us struggling with concerns like pigmentation, uneven texture, or sensitive skin, and when they share how our products have helped them, that’s the real success for me. Each sale denotes the assurance of our customers, but it’s not just about numbers or products leaving the shelf-it’s about knowing we’ve made a real difference in our customers’ skin and confidence. Hearing their feedback and seeing their transformation reminds me of why we started Vanaura Organics in the first place.

This mix of personal recommendations and informative storytelling has really helped more people discover and connect with our brand.

We’re working on 18 new products focused on specific skin concerns, so our range will offer even more targeted solutions. We’ve already made our mark digitally in the US, and soon we’ll be expanding to Singapore, Europe, and the UAE, bringing Vanaura’s Organics to a global audience.

My advice for anyone shifting from chemical-based skincare to organic alternatives is to focus on the health of your skin first. Many chemical ingredients, like strong acids or synthetic compounds, can disrupt the skin barrier, leading to irritation, breakouts, allergies, and even premature aging. Some harmful chemicals can mimic hormones, potentially affecting thyroid function or causing other systemic issues; they can even enter the bloodstream over time.
Switching to naturally derived ingredients helps reduce these risks and supports long-term skin health. The organic aspect adds an extra layer of care-from the soil to your skin, the ingredients are cultivated without pesticides or chemical fertilizers, ensuring a clean, safe, and sustainable skincare routine.
