Prime Insights: Tell us about your journey as a corporate woman leader. What inspired you to pursue your career path?
From an early age, my desire for independence—to earn my own money and manage my expenses—was profound. This led me to start working at just 19. The freedom to make my own decisions was incredibly empowering, and I also got inspired by my mother and grandmothers, who were strong, determined women charting their own paths.
Prime Insights: What were some of the key challenges you faced as a woman in your industry, and how did you overcome them?
Operating within the financial investments consulting industry, a huge challenge has been the initial lack of confidence from some people. It’s inherently difficult for women to build themselves, whether as entrepreneurs or in leadership roles within any industry. Overcoming this requires consistent demonstration of capability and unwavering resolve.
Prime Insights: How would you describe your leadership style, and what makes it effective in today’s corporate landscape?
My leadership style is deeply aligned with my personal values and principles. It is empathetic and people-centric, visionary yet grounded and aware. I believe in being collaborative, strategic, and purpose-driven, which collectively builds an environment effective for navigating today’s dynamic corporate landscape.
Prime Insights: Can you share innovative strategies or solutions you’ve implemented that contributed significantly to your organization’s growth or transformation?
Significant growth has been fueled by adopting strategies like “Think Global, Act Local,” embracing lifelong learning, and building a tech-driven mindset. These principles also encourage a culture of innovation, purposeful action, and flexible methodologies within the organization.

My leadership decisions and professional conduct are fundamentally driven by transparency, honesty, innovation, creativity, and, critically, discipline.
Prime Insights: Please share some milestones or achievements in your career that you’re most proud of.
I am immensely proud of several career achievements, including winning multiple recognitions. Being part of the FICCI Ladies Organisation, a vital platform empowering women to thrive and scale, has been particularly fulfilling. Additionally, my participation in prominent conferences like CXO 2.0 and lifelong membership in the Institute of Directors mark significant milestones.
Prime Insights: What strategies do you use to build strong, lasting relationships with clients, partners, or stakeholders?
Key strategies include proactive and transparent communication, consistent value delivery, and prioritizing trust and integrity. I aim to be a strategic partner, not just a vendor, with a long-term vision. Crucially, I focus on being a deep listener and acting on feedback with a positive and open mindset.
These 3 are the very essence of any business and a leader’s foundational pillars, making way for building trust and credibility, driving long-term success, and stakeholder-centric thinking too. Leaders are nowadays seen as caretakers.
Prime Insights: Have any collaborations, partnerships, or mentors played a pivotal role in your success?
Absolutely, valuable collaborations have been significant. I’ve also been fortunate to receive mentorship from truly amazing individuals. Their guidance has been pivotal in shaping my perception and helping me adapt and learn the essential skills required to be an empathetic and effective leader.
Prime Insights: What initiatives have you led to empower women within your industry or organization?
I’ve employed women restarting their careers after breaks, providing flexibility to balance personal needs with company goals, building a healthy and balanced environment. Beyond simply hiring more women, I prioritize knowledge sharing on true independence, emphasizing empathy alongside boundary-setting and show the importance of self-love. My aim is to educate and empower.
Prime Insights: How do you maintain a healthy work-life balance while leading at the top?
As a leader, I try to play the role of a mentor but also a guide and help them work towards the organizational goals but also be a well-being wisher for them and be there to help them to maintain a healthy work-life balance and boost their morale to give their best.
I let them share their views and ideas and appreciate them, and also put those ideas into action. The work culture is professional yet very friendly and approachable.

It certainly isn’t easy, but my advice is to be patient yet smart, empathetic yet decisive, and accountable yet confident. Remember the quote: “Soft on people but tough on principles.”
Prime Insights: What are your current goals for your career or organization, and how do you plan to achieve them?
My current goals revolve around substantially yet sustainably growing both my company and career. I plan to achieve this by actively hiring talented young women while also offering opportunities to senior individuals seeking a second inning in their careers.

Technology has undeniably made operations simpler, faster, and more dynamic. However, I believe there’s still significant progress to be made in fully leveraging its potential within our field.
Prime Insights: What trends or shifts do you foresee shaping the future for women leaders in 2025 and beyond?
I foresee a significant paradigm shift, with young and dynamic women ascending to more senior and top management positions. This will usher in a rise of purpose-driven leadership, characterized by a stronger focus on diversity, equity, and inclusion, alongside a greater emphasis on emotional-intelligence and human-centric leadership qualities.
