Yuvraj’s funny take on Kohli and Gambhir’s fight saying ‘Thand Rakh’:

Since Monday’s IPL 2023 match between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Lucknow Super Giants, two prominent figures in Indian cricket, Virat Kohli and Gautam Gambhir, have been making headlines. As per NDTV Sports Desk, LSG mentor Gambhir and RCB mainstay Kohli were involved in a heated argument after Monday’s game. It was a charged-up game, post which Kohli could be seen celebrating every LSG wicket animatedly along with an altercation with LSG’s Naveen-ul-Haq. The images had depicted some unpleasant incidents on the pitch when Gambhir and the former India skipper got into an argument. Social media had given it widespread worldwide coverage.

Yuvraj Singh has made a humorous recommendation for a soft drink company to sign the duo for promotion. He said that he thinks #Sprite should sign #Gauti and #Cheeku for their campaign #ThandRakh and he had asked for open comments. Gambhir and Kohli, former India colleagues, have faced off before but have played together for the Delhi state team.

The last match in Bengaluru between RCB and LSG in an IPL 2023 game showed that Gambhir had gestured towards the Bengaluru crowd with a ‘shut up’ sign. They too got into a fight during the IPL match between RCB and Kolkata Knight Riders in Bengaluru ten years ago. Both Kohli and Gambhir admitted to breaking the IPL Code of Conduct, the IPL said in a statement. Naveen-ul-Haq, an LSG bowler, was also penalised 50% of his match money. In the IPL 2023 match against Royal Challengers Bangalore, LSG Coach Gautam Gambhir violated the IPL Code of Conduct and was penalised 100% of his match money. According to a media announcement, Mr. Gambhir acknowledged to the Level 2 infraction under Article 2.21 of the IPL Code of Conduct.

Mr Naveen-ul-Haq admitted to the Level 1 offence under Article 2.21 of the IPL Code of Conduct. In short, Kohli and Gambhir’s fight has been dominating the headlines, Kohli and Gambhir were fined for the verbal fight and Yuvraj has now tried to give a light-hearted take on the situation. The players in both camps had to separate the ex-India teammates. Following the altercation, the RCB star, Gambhir, and Naveen each received fines for their involvement in the brawl.

Kohli later said that if someone can provide it, then others have to accept it or there won’t be anything. This was said while RCB was busy celebrating their victory over LSG. any need to give. Also, a cryptic message was dropped by Kohli quoting the former Roman Emperor Marcus Aurelius that everything we hear is an opinion, not a fact, everything we see is a perspective, not the truth. The players are now waiting for the situation to come down and lighten a bit before they can be charged up to play again.
