Prime Insights: Please briefly overview your company and its core offerings. What makes your brand stand out in today’s competitive market?
VRUKSHAM TALENT GROUP® is a truly Indianized company with Indian ethos/values, with its presence in India for the past 23+ years, a trademark-registered company headquartered in Bangalore, and with activities pan-India. Our core offerings are management consultancy, placement recruitment consultancy services, and integration consultancy. We are focused on the space of END-TO-END HR activities and are focused on our HR SERVICE DELIVERY, end-to-end.
Prime Insights: Can you walk us through the inception story of your company?
The seed of Vruksham Talent Group was sown in the year 2001 in the garden city, Bangalore, where its headquarters (HQ) are located, and its activities have now spread out into other cities like Belgaum, Chennai, Coimbatore, Madurai, Hyderabad, Mysore, Pune, etc. In the course of its existence for a little over two-plus decades, it’s been VRUKSHAM’s endeavor to strive and evolve itself in line with the pulse of the market while keeping the ‘human element or human aspect’ at the core of all activities we do. Just as the garden city (Bangalore) has morphed into the tag of Silicon Valley of India, VRUKSHAM sapling, too, is evolving organically into a mature tree that can provide natural shelter to all (people) who come to its fold.
Prime Insights: What inspired you to start this journey?
Wanted to plough back something to the nation, especially so in culturing young minds for the development of our INDIA/BHARATH. Wanted to create an effective HR system in organizations. Help the rural masses get into jobs. Wanted to bridge the RURAL-URBAN divide. I always loved to be in PEOPLE MANAGEMENT ACTIVITIES, as that drives me….
Prime Insights: As a successful CEO, how do you maintain a balance between your professional responsibilities and personal life?
Interesting question…. Luckily/Thankfully, there is a nice, balanced family and a very, very caring wife. I set certain times in a day purely and totally for my family. I adore my family back home, as they have given me all the energy for me to deliver in the outside world.
Prime Insights: Every leader faces challenges. What were some of the significant struggles in your journey, and how did you overcome them?
Like any other organization, we have had issues with trained people leaving the organization at the right time, especially when Business is about to take off to the next level(s). We had issues with various external factors like the pandemic, the global/Indian recession, and shrinking margins. The grit/determination and urge to excel keep it going… For VRUKSHAM is a WAY OF LIFE to me, and we are always ready to run that extra mile for “OUR VRUKSHAM.”

Prime Insights: What type of clients do you primarily serve? Are there any notable clients or partnerships you would like to mention?
We primarily work with IT SECURITY/IT DISTRIBUTION/IT INTEGRATION companies and also in BFSI/EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS/large MNCs/HOSPITALS, apart from POLICE and PRISON PEOPLE. We work with customers in over 16-17 countries.
Prime Insights: How do you and your team stay updated with the ever-evolving trends and demands of the market?
This has always been one of the major challenges we deal with… We use all available resources around us, including physical/electronic resources, to keep ourselves abreast of situations. Thankfully, we have a good combination of team members, comprising GenX, GenY, and also Gen Z. This helps in many ways.
Prime Insights: In your opinion, how vital is research & development (R&D) in shaping the future of your company?
We don’t need much R&D, as we are a services organization, and it may not be required that much, per se.
Prime Insights: Employee satisfaction often drives business success. What steps do you take to keep your team motivated and engaged?
We do a lot of employee engagement activities, and we truly believe in EMPLOYEE DELIGHT in the workplace. They should enjoy what they are doing at work, and that would be a major driver for deliverables to happen.
Prime Insights: Who has inspired you the most in your professional life? What values or lessons do you aim to pass on to those who look up to you?
Lots of them, including my previous bosses in the organization I served for and my own dad, who was highly meticulous and principled in life, and obviously leaders like MODI, NARAYAN MURTHY, AZIM PREMJI, ANANTH KUMAR (former union minister), Dr.VISHNUVARDHAN (Kannada filmdom superstar), DHONI, etc. These all are a bunch of people who have created leaders and not followers. All the above people could absorb pressure and still work towards their specific/set goals, despite all odds or challenges surrounding them.
Prime Insights: How important is it, in your view, for leaders to actively contribute to the broader entrepreneurial ecosystem?
It is critical as they need to take that initiative, especially so in the MSME segment and also in the SOHO Business. segment.
Prime Insights: What message would you give to aspiring entrepreneurs or leaders who feel held back due to societal stereotypes or self-doubt?
SIM, SIM, SIM SELF-INDUCED MOTIVATION is the MANTRA to success… Nothing great one could achieve in life without this…. If we don’t ADAPT to CHANGE/s around us, we become extinct !!
Prime Insights: What does the future look like for your company? Are there any expansion plans, innovations, or upcoming projects you’d like to share?
It’s looking bright…. We have diversified within the HR SERVICES SEGMENT to contextually relevant services and something that brings more value-add to our customers. Yes, we certainly have plans to expand our delivery horizons and be a unique HR service provider that way.
Prime Insights: What major milestones or achievements has your company accomplished that you are particularly proud of?
We are a small 23-year-old organization…. We have done HR INTERVENTION for over 63,000 people, 3,500 police and prison personnel, 1,100 IITians, and more. We are proud of working closely with the student community in shaping their careers or futures and making them BHARATH-READY. As an organization, we have gotten few prestigious recognitions/awards/platforms.
Prime Insights: How is your company involved in giving back to society? Please share any CSR initiatives or social impact programs you’re part of.
We work with quite a few organizations in protecting nature, putting in VRUKSHAM (TREE) saplings, working with rural masses for better hygienic conditions, handling toxic materials that could be catastrophic for the society and the world we live in, and creating more and more water bodies. Initiatives taken to avoid food waste, which is a big concern

As a great guru once said, COURAGE IS DESTINY…. While doing that, let us protect our BHARATH/INDIA interests and work towards the betterment of BHARATH in making our nation one of the strong nations to reckon with, for BHARATH truly needs a better spot in the world markets in all aspects… Again, to make that, we should have SIM SOLUTIONS IN ME !!!
