Our foray into building contracting and fit-out services further expanded our horizons. As the sands of time guided our steps, we leveraged our business acumen to extend our reach across industries and borders. Beyond the confines of the UAE, our ambition drove us to cultivate a presence in India and the United States, venturing into property management and development. This expansion echoed our commitment to crafting not just structures but lifestyles and communities.
Question 2: How have you managed to keep a balance between your personal life and professional spheres?
The balance between my personal and professional realms comes with a habit of meticulous planning. I always organize my goals and focus on achieving them one at a time. To find solace in the quilt of my mother, I embrace the thrill of mountaineering.
I am a fervent mountaineer and traveller. I embark on expeditions that transcend boundaries, scaling new summits like my recent conquest of Mount Elbrus. Despite the demanding responsibilities at Linus, efficiency remains my guiding principle. I meticulously structure my time, crafting a personal calendar month in advance, ensuring that every moment is optimized and leisure activities are not compromised as well.
Question 3: Being a leader, is your story of struggle any different from others?
As a leader navigating the path of entrepreneurship, I had my ups and downs. The transition from the US to the UAE presented its own unique set of obstacles, notably carving a niche in the dynamic Dubai market. I am privileged to have had my father beside me throughout my entrepreneurial journey. His valuable guidance and wisdom have fuelled my business decisions over all these past years. Through his lessons, I have learned to see adversity through a positive lens.
Question 4: How do you keep yourself updated about the changing market trends?
Linus International embraces innovation and technology to stay ahead of market trends. By integrating technology into operations, we streamline processes and anticipate market changes. Moreover, we actively represent ourselves at diverse business forums, which gives us a clear picture of market movements. Linus International also has a robust asset-mix strategy to protect the business against economic downturns. This strategic diversification not only fortifies the present but also serves as a blueprint for the future.
Question 5: What are your thoughts on the contribution of research and development to your company’s journey?
The impertinence of strong research and development is an inevitable aspect of our actions. In the scaffolding industry, we need to keep experimenting with different materials as per the country we’re working in and also the kind of projects we’re undertaking. Hence, we have to significantly pay attention to R&D to come up with innovative ideas and materials. Desarch scaffolding in the UAE, Cornish scaffolding, and translite scaffolding in India stand as testaments to our commitment to R&D.
Question 6: How does the company ensure that the workforce stays motivated and feels content?
Linus International pays undeterred attention to employee contentment. The company’s approach is to align the talents of each employee with a common vision of taking the organization to new heights. One of the dignitaries who inspires me substantially is Alex Hormozi. He is an inspiration to many, as his journey exemplifies self-made success and strategic investment. His first million-dollar achievement at a young age is a testament to his resilience and dedication. Hormozi’s reliance on knowledge as a foundation for building an empire aligns with his ethos, inspiring others to pursue relentless pursuit, strategic thinking, and a thirst for knowledge.

Entrepreneurship isn’t complete without failing. You will fail, and you will stand again. Being discouraged by stereotypes is a passing thing, as the light of your dream will clear the dust. Push through challenges as catalysts for evolution, and don’t hesitate to ask for guidance from expert professionals. Pay specific attention to building an adept team. The journey may be arduous, but the rewards come from your resolve to carve your path to success.
