Prime Insights: Tell us about the brand.
Madonna Electronics was born in 1987 with a mission to provide premium service in the realm of servicing and repairing electronic gadgets. Our association with Sony in 1992 further solidified our commitment to quality. In 2012, we revolutionized the industry with the invention of the pulsator. Today, we’re proud to serve thousands of satisfied customers across the globe.
Prime Insights: Kindly tell us about the company’s origin story.
Our inventor, Mr. Felix Silvester, who has adequate experience in the electronics field in various countries, gave vent to his creative potential by making “Pulsator,” an innovative machine that automated the process of high-mounted bell tolling. Now more than 700 churches, various temples, and institutions are using the product. One of the major institutions is the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Kozhikode.
Prime Insights: What was the motivating force behind its inception?
In 2010, my parish church was undergoing a major renovation. As parishioners contributed generously to the cause, I felt compelled to offer my unique skills. Having won multiple awards from Sony for my technical and administrative abilities, I realized I could create a solution that would benefit the church community. This sparked the idea for the Pulsator.
Prime Insights: What were the initial challenges faced by your business?
Initially, we faced challenges in developing the unique Pulsator product, especially due to infrastructure limitations in Kerala for making the unique product like “Pulsator.” Launching the product in 2012 was a significant milestone. It took two years to launch. That was on 9th September 2012.
Educating the public about the reliability of electronic products was another hurdle. They thought the electronic product would not run for a long time. It took 6 months to install a second product near to our church. Now all the churches in our area are using Pulsator. However, through consistent efforts and successful installations, we’ve gained trust and expanded our reach all over India and abroad.
Prime Insights: How is the brand defining the “trust factor” in the market?
Since 1987, Madonna Electronics and Mr. Felix Silvester have all been in Kerala in the electronic service field. So, the name was already a trust factor. In 2012, it became an international name. This long-standing commitment to excellence has earned us the trust of our customers worldwide.
