Question 1: To begin with, we are humbled to have you on our platform. Can you please give us a brief overview of how the journey started?
Of course! You know our story, in a way, mirrors the story of the industry itself. We both started in the Broadcast industry, at a time when India was first opening itself up to Global programming standards and global TV content. We basically witnessed this transition, while being a part of the industry undergoing said transformation. This affords us a unique perspective – whereby we try and avoid getting caught up in external trappings and instead always focus on the core of content production – storytelling. Given our background, both of us had a prominent inclination toward producing captivating, scripted, and unscripted content. Our passion helped us delve deeper into the content creation industry for both TV and digital, as well as event management. That’s what laid the foundation of Dreams Vault Media. The content we have produced across media and platforms has validated the very convictions that started us off. Storytelling, honest and genuine, always resonates, it finds its own audience.

We are in the business of Content Creation. We live and die by Creative ideas. Along with a dedication to openness and collaboration. These are the traits that drive success in our organization. We have seen the effects of our efforts when we managed to set new records in Television ratings including becoming the highest rated Non-fiction show with Dance Deewane.

Over the years we have achieved several significant milestones in the media and entertainment landscape. Whether it’s the creation of an all-original, home-grown non-fiction Dance Reality show Dance Deewane; which after debuting on the Colors Entertainment Channel, secured the highest launch viewership among similar shows and became the “Number One Non-Fiction” show in the Hindi GEC category. Or, the numerous TVCs we have created for new age brands in the Tech, FMCG, Pharma or Fintech sectors. While collaborating with some of the top talents of the country like Ranveer Singh, Rajkumar Rao, Tiger Shroff and Vidya Balan to name a few. All of which has resonated very strongly with Pan India audiences.
We have also created and executed India’s first Live sports show led by Kids. The show Super Funday for IPL was major disruptor in the sports entertainment arena and brought in a slew of fresh audiences.
In fact, we really like creating unique content featuring kids. We created a similarly interesting show Kitchen Champion which featured a never before seen role reversal with celebrities competing as chefs to impress Kid judges. This show was also a major success on Colors TV.
We treasure our versatility. On one project we would collaborate with an industry leading platform like Netflix or Hotstar, and one the very next we would produce some very innovative branded content for a new age brand like Rapido.
The establishment of “Dreams Vault Xperiences” allows us to focus on designing and executing memorable live experiences with compelling storytelling. From “Jio Mami 2023” to unique experiences like the escape room for “Netflix’s Kaala Paani,” our commitment shines across all dimensions. The involvement in TEDx Gateway, YES Bank, and NCW events also underscores our multifaceted presence.
Question 10: What is the strategic roadmap and vision for the future?
You know sometimes we wish we could script our own journeys the same way we script some of our content. But to be honest the element of surprise and dynamic evolution associated with the media industry is exhilarating.
We just launched the fourth season of Dance Deewane. The show once again became the No. 1 Non fiction show on Indian TV, and we seek to maintain that position.
Simultaneously we are in the process of creating new Non-fiction formats for some of the leading OTT Platforms.
Our roadmap ahead unfolds with a bold exploration of new frontiers in digital content creation. We are poised to expand our portfolio and captivate audiences in innovative ways. At the heart of our strategy lies an unwavering commitment to pushing the boundaries of creativity and excellence. The future brims with endless possibilities, and we’re primed and ready to leave an indelible mark on the realm of media and entertainment.
